font-family:Arial'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a name=start></a>Senate Bill 322 amends the
Human Resources Code to prohibit the Department of Family and Protective
Services from forbidding the possession of lawfully permitted firearms and
ammunition in a foster home of any type. The bill authorizes the department to
adopt minimum standards relating to the safe and proper storage of firearms and
ammunition.</span></p>
